New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education Seminars
Attorneys from Kulzer & DiPadova will be presenting at upcoming seminars this year. Glenn A. Henkel and Arthur A. DiPadova will be presenting at several New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education seminars in the next few months.
Mr. Henkel will be speaking at the 2014 Heckerling Institute Review on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the NJ Law Center in New Brunswick, NJ, where he, Richard H. Greenberg, Esq. (Greenberg & Schulman, Woodbrige), and Martin M. Shenkman, Esq., CPA (Law Offices of Martin M. Shenkman, Paramus & New York City), will cover estate planning updates since the 2012 American Taxpayer Relief Act (ATPA), and how topics covered at the Heckerling Institute in Miami, FL affect practice in New Jersey, including portability, evolving issues in planning with trusts, modifying irrevocable trusts, planning for estates under $10 million, planning for larger estates (including how to maximize income tax savings), charitable giving and the impact of the 3.8% health care surtax on both trusts and individuals.
Mr. Henkel will also be speaking at the 2014 Probate Symposium on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the NJ Law Center, New Brunswick, NJ. He will be part of a panel discussion regarding updates on retirement planning, federal estate tax, litigation, charitable gifts, New Jersey tax, ethics and elder care.
Mr. Henkel and Mr. DiPadova will be speaking at the 2014 Federal Tax Law Symposium on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, Iselin, NJ. They will be presenting on estate and gift tax developments and planning techniques and business entity tax and transaction issues.
The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) was created in 1961 to help lawyers keep abreast of legal developments, aid them in becoming proficient in selected areas of law and assist them in maintaining a high level of professional competence. During its first year, NJICLEoffered 11 courses, attracting more than one thousand attorneys. The scope of NJICLE’s service to the bench and bar increased dramatically over the past 50 years. The Institute now presents more than 275 live and online seminars annually throughout the State, offers audio/video CLE packages, develops software programs specifically designed for the practicing attorney and publishes comprehensive treatises and lecture handbooks. More than 35,000 lawyers, judges, and other interested parties avail themselves of these services each year.
