Daniel L. Mellor, J.D., LL.M.
Mr. Mellor is a shareholder in the firm. He earned his J.D. at the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he also received a Certificate in Estate Planning. Mr. Mellor is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, as well as the Camden, Burlington and Mercer County Bar Associations. He is also licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Mellor is a voting member of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. He has served as the representative to Burlington County and Camden County, and as Liaison to the Tax Law Section. Mr. Mellor also sits on the Board of Trustees for the South Jersey Young Professionals Association.
In 2013 and again in 2017, Mr. Mellor was named a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star. Mr. Mellor has been published in Tax Notes on the topic of the individual mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act, and has spoken extensively in recent years on the new “tangible property regulations”.
